Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Qare is operated by Qareeb Care. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our app or website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By using Qare you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Full name, email address and phone number
• CNIC number, and for providers a CNIC image, a selfie and qualification documents
• Profile photo, bio, skills, experience and the rate you set
• Your city and home address for bookings
• Job posts, applications and booking details. Job descriptions may include health information about the person who will receive care, because you choose what to write there.
• Chat messages, images and voice notes sent through the app or to support
• Ratings, reviews and dispute reports

Information collected automatically

• Location — with your permission, your device's approximate and precise location, used only to fill in your address and show providers near you. Qare does not track your location in the background or after a job.
• Notification token — an identifier for your device so we can send you push notifications about your bookings. It is cleared when you log out.
• Payment records — a record of commission payments providers make to Qare. We never see or store your card details.

Qare contains no advertising, no analytics services and no crash-reporting services.

3. How we use your information

• Create and manage your account
• Verify providers before they can accept work. We check a nurse's CNIC against the public Pakistan Nursing Council register, and a physiotherapist's DPT qualification, ourselves. Qare does not connect to any government system.
• Match families with providers and process bookings and applications
• Enable messaging and send booking notifications
• Calculate trust scores, ratings and commission owed
• Investigate reports and resolve disputes
• Meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only as follows:

• With other users — a provider's name, city, photo, experience, skills, rate and rating are visible to families. Once a booking is accepted, the family's name, phone number and address are shared with that provider so they can reach you and attend.
• Supabase — hosts our database and file storage.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivers push notifications to your device.
• Resend — sends account emails such as sign-in codes.
• PayFast — processes commission payments made by providers to Qare.
• OpenStreetMap — when you use the location button, your coordinates are sent to its public service to turn them into a readable address.
• Legal — where required by Pakistani law, or to protect the safety of a user or the public.

5. Storage and security

All data sent between your device and Qare travels over encrypted HTTPS connections. Data is stored with Supabase using industry-standard protections.

Identity documents, support photos and voice notes are held in private storage that is not publicly readable. They are reachable only by Qare administrators, through short-lived signed links, for verification and support.

6. Your rights

• See the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
• Delete your account and associated data
• Withdraw permission for optional processing, such as location access

You can delete your account inside the app at any time. Full instructions, and details of what is deleted and what is retained, are on our account deletion page. For anything else, email support@qarepk.com.

7. Cookies

This website uses only basic cookies needed to serve the pages. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and the Qare app does not use cookies at all.

8. Children's privacy

Qare is for adults. You must be 18 or over to hold an account. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email or in-app notification, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use Qare after an update means you accept it.
